See UFC 114 on the go with FLO TV

SAN DIEGO — May 7, 2010 — FLO TV Incorporated, a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), today announced that it will begin carrying popular UFC® Pay-Per-View events, kicking off with the highly anticipated May 8 rematch of UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida and challenger Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.  FLO TV™ direct-to-consumer viewers can step into the Octagon™ live at 10 p.m. EST / 7 p.m. PST on Saturday, May 8, and can relive all the action with event replays for 24 hours afterward.  The mixed-martial arts event marks the first in a series of UFC pay-per-view events to be offered on the FLO TV service via the FLO TV Personal Television and Auto Entertainment devices.

UFC 113: MACHIDA vs. SHOGUN 2 to be First in a Series of Ongoing UFC Pay-Per-View Programming

FLO TV will offer the fight on its direct-to-consumer (D2C) platforms, including the FLO TV Personal Television and FLO TV Auto Entertainment systems.  FLO TV viewers can order the fight for $44.99 at FLOTV.com or by calling 1-888-99-FLOTV.  Once purchased, FLO TV customers have access to the UFC 113 replay for a 24-hour window ending at 10 p.m. EST /

7 p.m. PST on Sunday, May 9.  Leading up to the fight, all FLO TV’s D2C customers can watch a UFC preview channel featuring pre-fight interviews and a live weigh-in.  To demonstrate its support for the UFC fan base, FLO TV also will be exhibiting at this month’s UFC Fan Expo™, May 28-29 in Las Vegas.

The UFC Pay-Per-View feature represents the first in a series of new applications that FLO TV will be introducing in the coming months, including services that integrate video with Web-based content and social media tools.
