UFC on FOX 8 Bonus and Presser Recap

With the sun still shining in Seattle, seven fighters attended the UFC on FOX post-fight press conference alongside UFC president Dana White. In attendance were flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and challenger John Moraga; welterweight victor Rory MacDonald and challenger Jake Ellenberger; and finishers in their FOX fights that day Robbie Lawler, Liz Carmouche and Jorge Masvidal.

$50,000 bonuses were awarded to four fighters: Johnson took Submission of the Night for his fifth-round, title-cinching kimura; Melvin Guillard won Knockout of the Night for his dramatic finish of Mac Danzig; and middleweights Ed Herman and Trevor Smith each took home an extra check for their three-round slobberknocker that Herman won via split decision.
