Benavidez and Namajunas Return in October

Number two-ranked flyweight contender Joseph Benavidez will continue his quest for another shot at the belt when he faces off with former world title challenger Ali Bagautinov in UFC 192 action at Toyota Center in Houston on October 3.

Also added to the stacked card is a female strawweight bout between Ultimate Fighter 20 finalist Rose Namajunas and TUF 20 castmate Angela Hill.

Tickets for UFC 192, which is headlined by the UFC light heavyweight title fight between Daniel Cormier and Alexander Gustafsson, are on sale now.

Winner of three straight over Tim Elliott, Dustin Ortiz and John Moraga, Benavidez is rapidly working his way back to the top of the division, but to put himself in line for the winner of the upcoming bout between Demetrious Johnson and John Dodson, he will have to turn back Russia's Bagautinov, who has won 11 of his last 12, with the only loss coming in a UFC 174 title fight against Johnson.

Making her first start since December of 2014, rising star Namajunas is eager to get back in the Octagon and back in the win column after a title fight defeat against Carla Esparza. "Overkill" Hill is 1-1 in the UFC thus far, defeating Emily Kagan and dropping a decision to Tecia Torres.
