Ronda Rousey: Is this the toughest feminist in the world?

Ronda Rousey is an ultimate fighting champion, Olympic medal-winner and self-proclaimed feminist. You need her in your life, says Gareth A Davies

If you are a woman and you don't know who Ronda Rousey is – you should. Rousey is a total trailblazer – in the true sense of the word. She has made 'cage-fighting' possible for women and appealing. But the American is not just some tough 'broad' who fights. She has an Olympic judo medal, looks beautiful in a dress, but can kick off her heels and train on the mats of martial arts gyms with the very best men in the world. And she has. She's smart, tough, and a supreme mixed martial artist. Proper kick-ass. She's also been called the "baddest woman on the planet'" - after winning her last title in just 14 seconds.
