Miocic vs. Arlovski in UFC 195 Co-Main

The UFC's first event of 2016 now has a co-main event, as the UFC 195 event on January 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas will feature the heavyweight showdown between number three-ranked Stipe Miocic and number four-ranked Andrei Arlovski.

UFC 195 is headlined by the highly-anticipated welterweight title bout between Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit. Tickets for the event go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 23.

Originally scheduled to face Ben Rothwell this Saturday in Dublin before sidelined by an injury, Ohio's Miocic will be ready to go for January 2 as he looks to follow up his May stoppage of Mark Hunt with another decisive victory. A former UFC heavyweight champion, Arlovski has won four in a row since returning to the Octagon in 2014, and after defeating Brendan Schaub, Bigfoot Silva, Travis Browne and Frank Mir, "The Pit Bull" could be on the verge of a world title shot should he defeat Miocic.
