An intriguing lightweight matchup is on tap for July 26, as veteran contender Jorge Masvidal takes on rising star Daron Cruickshank on the FOX UFC Saturday card in San Jose.
Winner of four of his last five, a stretch which includes UFC wins over Tim Means, Michael Chiesa, and Pat Healy, Masvidal is showing the best form of his 11-year pro career. The Ultimate Fighter 15's Cruickshank is on a hot streak as well, winning five of his seven UFC bouts. "The Detroit Superstar" is also coming off back-to-back knockouts over Mike Rio and Erik Koch.
