Maldonado in for JDS against Miocic

The TUF Brazil 3 finale on May 31 has a new main event...
Popular Brazilian slugger Fabio Maldonado will make a move north to the heavyweight division on Saturday, May 31, as he replaces the injured Junior Dos Santos in a five-round main event bout against Stipe Miocic.

Maldonado, a former pro boxer, is in the midst of a three-fight winning streak, most recently defeating Gian Villante in March. In Miocic, he will face a former Golden Gloves champ who has defeated Gabriel Gonzaga and Roy Nelson in his last two bouts.

The FOX Sports 1 card, which will take place at the Ginasio do Ibirapuera in Sao Paulo, also features the heavyweight and middleweight finals of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3.
