A quarterfinalist on season one of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil, Leonardo Mafra Teixeira will make his return to the UFC on July 16 in Atlantic City, as he replaces the injured John Howard against welterweight standout Rick Story.

Holding an 11-1 pro record, Santa Catarina's "Macarrao" has won five straight, all by knockout, since his loss to Thiago Perpetuo at UFC 147 in 2012. Story has split his last four bouts, defeating Quinn Mulhern and Brian Ebersole while losing close split decisions to Mike Pyle and Kelvin Gastelum.
