Jordan Battles Newcomer Cannonier at UFC 182

Fresh from an impressive TKO win over Jack May in August, heavyweight powerhouse Shawn Jordan will kick off his 2015 campaign at UFC 182 on January 3 as he welcomes unbeaten newcomer Jared Cannonier to the Octagon.

In the UFC 182 main event, which will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Jon Jones defends his UFC light heavyweight title against Daniel Cormier.

Former LSU football player Jordan has earned each of his four UFC victories by knockout, making him a must see in the heavyweight division, but he will be pushed hard by Cannonier, who has ended six of his seven pro wins by knockout or submission.
