Injuries Force Changes to Brasilia Card

 

Injuries have forced some changes to the UFC Fight Night card in Brasilia, Brazil on September 24.
 
Glaico Franca will return to the Octagon to face newcomer Gregor Gillespie in a lightweight bout after Joaquim "Netto BJJ" Silva was forced out due to injury.
 
With welterweights Brandon Thatch and Shinsho Anzai both sustaining injuries, their September opponents, Erick Silva and Luan Chagas, respectively, will now meet each other in a 170-pound matchup.
 
And finally, with Renato Moicano sidelined, Godofredo Pepey will step up to face Mike De La Torre in featherweight action.
 
In the UFC Figt Night main event at Ginasio Nislon Nelson in Brasilia, Brazil, Brazilian superstar Cris Cyborg will make her second UFC appearance against Octagon newcomer Lina "Elbow Princess" Lansberg. The five-round main event bout will be contested at a catchweight of 140 pounds. FOX Sports 1 will televise the event.
