Fresh from a Fight of the Night win over Guido Cannetti at UFC 180 last November, Mexican bantamweight Henry Briones will look to extend his current eight fight unbeaten streak in Las Vegas, as he takes on Team Alpha Male's unbeaten Cody Garbrandt in UFC 189 action on July 11.
Tickets for UFC 189 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, which features Jose Aldo's featherweight title defense against Conor McGregor and the welterweight title fight between Robbie Lawler and Rory MacDonald, are on sale now.
Sacramento's Garbrandt is coming off a big Octagon debut of his own, as he knocked out Marcus Brimage at UFC 182 to improve to 6-0 with six knockouts as a pro. Now he will face off with Tijuana's Briones, a former member of The Ultimate Fighter Latin America cast.
