When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training at 17 at (UFC veteran) Mikey Burnett’s school in Tulsa. I loved kickboxing and wrestling with my friends and we always fought each other. I always watched the UFC on TV and I really wanted to do it, so I called around and found Mikey’s school, which was 10 miles away from my house. I had a knack for it and started doing really well. What ranks and titles have you held? None yet worth mentioning Do you have any heroes? Jesus, soldiers like my brother, Scott Wiman, and my family. My favorite fighters are Chuck Liddell, Keith Jardine, Forrest Griffin and Clay Guida. What is your favorite technique? Any knockout or submission What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s indescribable. When I heard about it I couldn’t breathe for a long time. It was so exciting and so surreal because it’s been my dream and I’ve been praying to God about it. I’m just so grateful to God and the UFC for giving me the opportunity. It’s gonna be the highlight of my life. Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No college What was your job before you started fighting? I used to work on a ranch, and for a long time I helped to teach.
