since when has shogun become an easy fight? Yeah, i think Machida will win, but Rua is no ones stepping stone. are his ufc fights his first u have seen. he may not be a huge 205er but neither is Machida. both r fast and explosive. its mma anyone can win at anytime.

OK Shogun was the #1 LHW in the world not to long ago so that is why he is getting this shot add to all the other big names are fighting right now or just got done fighting. Let it go Silva is not going to fight his boy. As far as Nick Catone go's its going to come down to who has the better stand up

The Shogan title shot has alot to do with reputation and availability. Shogan was a big name until joining the UFC and looking like crap. He then pulls off a big knockout over Chuck (another big reputation). Rampage fit in as a coach against Rashad really well and I am sure Rampage is in no hurry to fight Machida. So now we have some big fights. Machida will take Shogan apart. Evans vs. Rampage will be interesting and the winner will probably fight Machida. Anderson Silva has 1 to 2 fights at middleweight that needs to happen. I am interested in seeing what Forrest does to come back after two knockouts.
