"The Polish Experiment" Returns on May 23rd to Face Gusmao

Fresh from his UFC 97 win over Brian Stann in April, Krzysztof “The Polish Experiment” Soszynski will make a quick return to the Octagon to face Andre Gusmao in a light heavyweight bout on May 23rd’s UFC 98 card. Soszynski – who has won both of his UFC bouts via submission - replaces Houston Alexander, who was forced to withdraw from the event over the weekend due to a broken hand.

Tickets for UFC 98, which is headlined by the UFC light heavyweight championship bout between Rashad Evans and Lyoto Machida and the welterweight grudge match between Matt Hughes and Matt Serra, are still on sale.

I'm so upset. I have ticketsw to go see UFC 98 and I was looking forward to seeing Houston fight. First Josh, now Houston. I was hoping that Houston had been working on his ground game for this fight as to keep it interesting. Huge houston fan, but lets face it, he is not that great on his back. I guess that Kryztof will be a pretty good match. Hats off to him for stepping up so suddenly. Hope he has been training hard.
