The autograph session is free and open to the public.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns on Saturday, August 7th, and fight fans will be treated to a world championship showdown between middleweight title holder and pound for pound king Anderson “The Spider” Silva, and number one challenger Chael Sonnen. Silva has dominated the 185-pound division since 2006, but in Sonnen, he may be meeting the one man with the style and determination to unseat him from the throne.

Also in action, welterweight contenders Jon Fitch and Thiago "Pitbull" Alves square off in their long-awaited rematch, and welterweight legend Matt Hughes takes on jiu-jitsu wizard Ricardo “Big Dog” Almeida.  UFC 117: Silva vs. Sonnen – Saturday, August 7th, live on Pay-Per-View from the Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA.

On Wednesday, August 18, Joseph Benavidez gets another crack at Dominick Cruz, who handed Benavidez his first and only professional loss last in their three-round battle last August. Benavidez will challenge Dominick Cruz for the bantamweight title in a hotly-anticipated summer showdown.

Plus, former featherweight champion Urijah Faber makes his 135-pound debut as he takes on Japanese striking sensation Takeya Mizugaki.

This epic summer event will be held in conjunction with the MAGIC trade show, the men’s fashion industry’s premier convention – held at The Las Vegas Convention Center and The Mandalay Bay Convention Center, August 17-19.

Spike TV will showcase two of the Boston area’s finest mixed martial arts fighters in live undercard bouts from UFC 118: Edgar vs. Penn II on Saturday, August 28 at 9:00pm ET/6:00pm PT. 

Live from the TD Garden in Boston, Joe Lauzon (“The Ultimate Fighter 5” alum) of Bridgewater, Mass. takes on Terry Etim in a lightweight battle and Milford, Mass native Jorge Rivera (“The Ultimate Fighter 4” alum) meets Alessio Sakara in a middleweight clash.

Other bouts on the card might air on Spike TV, to be determined by the length of the fights.

For a city steeped in sports history, finally Boston will get to witness world-class mixed martial arts in its own backyard.

After a back-and-forth instant classic at UFC® 112 in April, which saw Frankie Edgar shock the mixed martial arts world and take the UFC lightweight strap from around BJ Penn’s waist, the two will square off again on Saturday, August 28 at UFC 118: EDGAR VS. PENN 2, which is live from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts and presented by TapouT®. 

Also on this card, Randy Couture takes on boxing legend James Toney as Toney makes his mixed martial arts debut. Plus Rousimar Palhares takes on Nate Marquardt, and Gray Maynard and Kenny Florian battle for the next top lightweight contender spot,

Brazilian mixed martial arts star, Demian Maia (12-2) returns to the Octagon® on a quest for another shot at the UFC middleweight crown as he takes on rising contender Alan Belcher (15-5) in Spike TV’s “UFC Fight Night” live from the Frank Erwin Special Events Center on the campus of The University of Texas in Austin on Wednesday, September 15 at 8:00pm ET/PT. 

In the co-feature, “The Ultimate Fighter 6” champ Mac Danzig (20-8-1) fighting out of Los Angeles, takes on Matt Wiman (12-5) from “The Ultimate Fighter 5,” currently fighting out San Francisco, in a rematch of their controversial bout at UFC 115.

For the first-time ever, Indianapolis will get a taste of the Ultimate Fighting Championship®.  Former UFC® heavyweight champion Frank Mir and former interim UFC heavyweight champion and mixed martial arts legend Minotauro Nogueira will mix it up for an encore performance on Saturday, September 25 at UFC 119: MIR VS. NOGUEIRA 2, which is presented by “Halo Reach” and live from the Conseco Field House in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

Also featured on this historic card, Nogueira’s twin brother and light heavyweight force Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will take on two-time NCAA Division I All-American wrestler turned undefeated fighter Ryan Bader. Then it’s a rematch of The Ultimate Fighter®: The Comeback finale as former UFC welterweight champion Matt Serra takes on one of Indianapolis’ own in Chris “Lights Out” Lytle.
