TRAINING: My typical day involves a combination of technical drilling, grappling and strike training. Depending on the actual day the intensity varies, as does the goal. Some days involve intense sessions and other days are longer with a more technical base.
When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training as a teen and had my first fight as a late teenager. What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? Fighting in the UFC is my dream come true, literally. I have had the vision of being a UFC fighter for many years and this is the beginning of great things for myself and Australian MMA.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I completed my degree at the University of New South Wales (Sydney) in Construction. I also studied abroad for a stint in Georgia Tech in Atlanta (2010) and briefly started Law School Postgrad in 2012 before deciding to pursue the UFC dream to my full potential.
What was your job before you started fighting? Strength and conditioning trainer and I was previously a student.
