Biography

TRAINING: I train hard every day. Wrestling, BJJ and striking.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training judo when I was six years old. That was when I started to enjoy competing. When I was 12, I started training Jiu-Jitsu, which I still do. Right after Jiu-Jitsu, I started training boxing and Muay Thai, already looking forward to MMA. My first fight as an amateur, I was only 16 years old.

What ranks and titles have you held? Jiu-Jitsu brown belt, light blue belt in Muay Thai. I competed for the Brazilian wrestling team, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion, World Jiu-Jitsu champion, Muay Thai state champion, and Brazilian wrestling champion.

Do you have any heroes? No

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? Everything. It’s a dream come true. I am here to be the champion, and help everyone that helps me, my family, my friends, etc...

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I was attending Physical Education College but I had to leave to fight for my dream to fight in the UFC.

What was your job before you started fighting? None. I was a child when I started.

Favorite grappling technique: Kimura

Favorite Striking technique: Knee in the clinch
