Biography

TRAINING: To be honest, I’ve been ready to fight since my last camp for the fight that did not go down versus Sullivan. So I’ve been prepping and getting ready for some time now.  BJJ, Thai boxing and wrestling every day damn near all day. Training and fighting is my life.

When and why did you start training for fighting? 2007. It was a natural progression from wrestling.

What ranks and titles have you held? NAAFS 170 & 185 Champion

Do you have any heroes? My parents, and Wanderlei Silva because of his all-out aggressive style

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s a life changing career goal.  It means all my hard work is finally starting to pay off. However, fighting in the UFC is not the goal. Winning and continuing to the top is the goal.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No

What was your job before you started fighting? Bouncing and machine work

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Several wrestling credentials
