Biography
TRAINING: Everything - Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling, BJJ, S&C, Cross Fit
When and why did you start training for fighting? I started MMA when I needed to get fit for the Royal Marines, so I searched the Internet for the toughest sports and MMA and Olympic wrestling came top of the list. That was my introduction to MMA at the Dragonslair Gym where I started training
What ranks and titles have you held? I currently hold the southwest Muay Thai boxing belt and am undefeated.
Do you have any heroes? Johnson Bahari, the only living soldier to have won the Victoria Cross Medal. I met him and he's a huge inspiration
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? Fighting in the UFC means everything to me. It’s my dream to do so; I only wish now for a successful career. I intend to invest in myself and find good coaches to teach me the skills to continue to improve
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I went to college to learn about sports science but I got behind and left for the Royal Marines
What was your job before you started fighting? I worked for Cooper Avon tires before my opportunity to fight in The Ultimate Fighter. I’m glad to have moved on.
Specific accomplishments in pro competition? Traveling out to Dubai earlier this year and being awarded KO of the Night and Fight of the Night on Cage Warriors, Knocking out Mok Rahman
Favorite grappling technique: Rear naked choke
Favorite Striking technique: Straight right
