Zak Jensen

Born in Edina, MN, Jensen was a standout athlete at Hopkins High School, earning All-Conference in football, wrestling, and track and field. He attended Northern Illinois University where he played both wrestled and played football. It wasn’t long until he transferred to Augsburg College where he continued his dual athletic career.

While still in college, Jensen participated in local Tough Guy Boxing Tournaments and spent his spare time in the gym. After his collegiate athletic career was over, he enrolled in the Golden Gloves boxing tournament. A friend impressed by his ability and offered him the opportunity to join his mixed martial arts team. Just two months later he had his first fight, a victory, and thus a mixed martial arts career was born.
