Biography

TRAINING: In the morning, I do conditioning training or running. After lunch, I start MMA training from three in the afternoon. After dinner, I do some mitt work for striking from eight at night. I go to bed at 11.

When and why did you start training for fighting? When I was in the army, I enjoyed watching combat sports on TV and thought I would try it after finishing the military service. That's why I started MMA in 2004.

What ranks and titles have you held? Road FC Lightweight Champion. Spirit MC Lightweight Champion. KPW Featherweight Champion

Do you have any heroes? Manny Pacquiao

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? When I was young, my dream was to take over the world like a superhero. I think I would fulfill that dream by becoming the UFC champion.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I graduated from Yong-in University majoring in Physical Education

What was your job before you started fighting? University student

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Korean National Jiu-jitsu championship silver medal. Korean National Taekwondo tournament gold medal.
