When and why did you start training for fighting? I started when I was 12 years old, training Muay Thai. I started fighting MMA when I was 15 years old. I started because I love to fight.

What ranks and titles have you held? I’m the Shooto South American Champion and World Shooto Champion.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? My dream come true.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I finished 2 degree in Brazil; for United States it’s like 1 step before the university.

What was your job before you started fighting? I never had a different job, just fighting.
