Biography
TRAINING: I do combat in the morning and conditioning or technique at night.
When and why did you start training for fighting? 2007. I tried to make the Olympic wrestling team, but didn’t make it, so basically somebody offered me a fight and I did it.
What ranks and titles have you held? None
Do you have any heroes? Manny Pacquiao
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? I just had a baby girl and we started a family, so it means everything to me. If I do well, it’s gonna open up opportunities for me and my family.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Business management and marketing degrees from the University of Findlay
What was your job before you started fighting? I worked on a horse ranch in Ohio
Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Three-time Division II National wrestling champion for the University of Findlay, two-time State wrestling champion, five-time NAGA winner, three-time Grapplers Quest winner.
Favorite grappling technique: Arm triangle
Favorite Striking technique: Straight left
