Biography

TRAINING: I get up at nine, drink some protein or eat something small for breakfast. At 10:30 I go for morning class. After that I chill for a while and then get lunch. After lunch I have some free time so I hang out with friends or just rest. About six pm I have another training session. Sometimes, if I feel fresh, I add a third training session, which is usually very easy. I go to sleep around midnight.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started in 2008 just for fun. The level was very low that time in our gym and it was far from pro fighting, but I enjoyed it.

What ranks and titles have you held? I am number 1 in Czech Republic and the GCF champion

Do you have any heroes? My hero is my teammate Alexander Gustafsson, he is a great inspiration for me.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? For me it is a fulfilled dream, so it means a lot. There is also a lot of responsibility to Czech fans, because now I am the only Czech fighter in the UFC.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes I studied at the Police Academy in Prague but I didn´t earn any degree yet.

What was your job before you started fighting? Student
