When and why did you start training for fighting?
I started training back in April of 2002. I trained for a month a half and had my first pro fight. I got started in MMA by watching one of my friends fight at a local MMA show. I was hooked and wanted to try it.

Do you have any heroes?
My coach Joey Gilbert who is a 4 time Illinois High School State Champion and UFC veteran

What is your favorite technique?
I love to pick guys up and slam them

What does it mean for you to fight in the WEC?
This is a dream come true for me. This is the reason I started fighting 5 years ago with the hope of getting my chance to fight in the big show.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn?
Illinois in Champaign/Urbana and earned a degree in management.

What was your job before you started fighting?
I am still currently working full time as a Project manager for a computer company.
