TRAINING: Strength and Conditioning in the morning, followed by BJJ, then rest. Then kickboxing / Muay Thai followed up with wrestling to end the day. Six days a week.
When and why did you start training for fighting? In 2006. I wanted to move from Karate to MMA.
What ranks and titles have you held? Maximum Fighting Championship (MFC) Light Heavyweight Champion, 2nd degree Chito-Ryu Karate Black Belt
Do you have any heroes? Arnold Schwarzenegger, Albert Einstein, Bruce Lee
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? The beginning of me showcasing myself to the world at the highest level.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No
What was your job before you started fighting? Personal trainer / Ninja
Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Four-time National (Canada) Karate Champion, Pan-Am Karate Silver (x1) & Bronze (x2) Medallist, 14-time Provincial Karate Champion
