Biography

TRAINING: Typical day of training is grappling / wrestling in the morning, followed by working with a strength trainer who specializes in posture realignment to get my body using the right muscles for desired tasks. Stand-up training is at night.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I got into MMA at age 14 when a friend in the neighborhood introduced me and my brother to it because he basically wanted some punching bags.

What ranks and titles have you held? MFC welterweight champ. FCFF middleweight champ. BJJ purple belt under Fabiano Scherner.

Do you have any heroes? My parents

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC?
It means everything to me to be fighting in the UFC again. Everything I have done outside the UFC was just to get back in there.

Various jobs in construction
