When and why did you start training for fighting? I started my sports career as a track and field athlete, and then I started to train Sanda. My Sanda coaches found me to have good talents in fighting and they introduced / sent me to the Xian Sports University, which is one of the cradles of fighting in China.
What ranks and titles have you held? None
Do you have any heroes? GSP is my hero.
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? The UFC is the world's no.1 MMA promotion. If I can finally get the chance to fight for the UFC, it means to me that I became one of the best fighters in the world.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I studied and trained at Xian Sports University, but I don't yet have a degree.
What was your job before you started fighting? I was a student.
Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? I've won some fights in the amateur BJJ competitions in China.
