TRAINING: Each day varies, conditioning in the morning usually, technique midday and sparring and MMA drills in the evening.
When and why did you start training for fighting? Age 15, got into martial arts and started in kickboxing. Since then I have always wanted to compete and gain better knowledge of fighting.
What ranks and titles have you held? None yet to speak of. I'm sure that will change.
Do you have any heroes? Ha, Larry David’s pretty cool.
What is your favorite technique? I wouldn’t really say I have one. Of course there are some I use more often, but I wouldn’t call them favorites.
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means a lot, this is the sport of the future and this is the organization leading the way, so it means a hell of a lot.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes, I graduated in 2004 with a Mathematics degree (yet to be used).
What was your job before you started fighting? I was training to be a chartered accountant with KPMG.
