Biography

When and why did you start training for fighting? I was always fascinated with fighting arts. I started wrestling in the 8th grade, then jiu-jitsu after HS, then boxing.

What ranks and titles have you held?
I did well in HS wrestling (CIF champ, state qualifier), and won many advanced jiu-jitsu tournament Golds.

Do you have any heroes?
My favorite fighters are BJ Penn, Fedor Emelianenko, Dean Lister, and Chance Farrar.

What is your favorite technique?

What does it mean for you to fight in the WEC?
Fighting in WEC is huge! It feels like the diligence, hard times, and hard work paid off.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn?
Radiologic Technologist License

What was your job before you started fighting?
Still working as an X-ray technologist - fighting does not pay the bills yet.
