TRAINING: My camp on Mon-Wed- Fri starts with BJJ with Joao Assis - then Muay Thai and MMA with Master Rafael Cordeiro and conditioning with John. Tuesday and Thursday I did wrestling training with Kenny Johnson . Now I'm in Brazil, already finishing my camp at Andre Dida’s gym with Master Cordeiro, Wanderlei Silva and Shogun Rua.
When and why did you start training for fighting? When? I started when I was 20. Why? All I can say is it involved a woman.
Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Jiu Jitsu World Champion (blue belt), Jiu Jitsu European Champion, Jiu Jitsu Pan-American Champion (three times)
Specific accomplishments in pro competition? Jiu Jitsu World Champion (black belt, two times), 2007 ADCC World Champion
Ranks in martial arts styles? Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Brown Belt in Judo.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? I’m excited to fight in the Octagon. I’ll show my best performance and prove that I am also one of the best HW in the world.
