Biography

TRAINING: At the gym I start with wrestling in the morning and end with MMA at night. It is hard training because my focus is my speed, and I can say that I am faster than ever.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training for fun at age 13. When I was 15 years old I took it seriously. At age 17 I fought amateur Muay Thai and Boxing matches.

What ranks and titles have you held? Southern Brasil Muay Thai and Boxing Champion

Do you have any heroes? Jesus

What is your favorite technique? Guillotine

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It's a dream come true. It's not only my dream, but by fighting I am giving hope and the ability to dream to all the people around me.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No

What was your job before you started fighting? I played soccer, but I had to make a decision and I chose fighting.

•    4-1 in the WEC with wins over Cole Province, Rafael Dias, Raphael Assuncao, and Tyler Toner.

•    Lone WEC loss was via decision to LC Davis

•    Six wins by submission, five by knockout

•    Teammate of UFC featherweight champ Jose Aldo.

•    Loss to Florian broke three fight winning streak
