Biography

TRAINING: Strength and conditioning in the morning for two hours followed by a technical grappling workout. Late night practice, either stand-up or grappling for two hours followed by technical striking.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I have been wrestling my whole life, so when I was in high school I decided I wanted to try it out. I got in my first MMA bout at 15 and have been interested ever since.

What ranks and titles have you held? RingWars MMA Amateur 185 and 205 Champion.

Do you have any heroes? U.S. troops, Crazy Horse, and Chief Red Cloud

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC?
I have been training for this since I was 15 and now that I finally got the call I am ready to show all the hard work that I have put in to get here.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I attended South Dakota State and graduated with a degree in Journalism.

What was your job before you started fighting? I am currently a journalist.
