TRAINING: I like sparring training. I know he is a good striker and I'm a great striker too. Also I have a lot of skills that I can use in this fight, like wrestling, Capoeira and Jiu-Jitsu. On the day of the fight I will be sharp and will give my best.
When and why did you start training to become a fighter? I started training in Belo Horizonte with Vitor Belfort because it was my dream since I was a little kid.
What ranks and titles have you held? TUF Brazil 1 winner, Capoeira Master, BJJ black belt
Do you have any heroes? Ayrton Senna, Randy Couture and Vitor Belfort
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It is a dream coming true. I believe everything you go after you can conquer. So always in my career I started to see myself in the UFC, and so it happened.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I was at the college studying to become a physiologist but I had to leave to chase my dream to become a professional fighter.
What was your job before you started fighting? I had many jobs - my last one was as a personal trainer
