Biography

TRAINING: A typical training day consists of two training sessions. The first workout starts at 09.00 in the morning and then I have one training session in the evening. During the week I train fitness, sprints, boxing, techniques, grappling and sparring.

When and why did you start training for fighting?
I started with Greco-Roman wrestling when I was a little guy. I wrestled for many years, so I wanted to try something new and found MMA and I got hooked.

What ranks and titles have you held?
I am ranked as one of the top fighters in Sweden. I have no specific titles in MMA. I have a gold medal in the Swedish wrestling championships.

Do you have any heroes?
My dad, who always supported me when I was growing up.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC?
It has always been my goal to become a UFC fighter so it’s an indescribable feeling to finally be here. I am proud to fight in the UFC.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn?
No

What was your job before you started fighting?
I still have part-time work as a mechanic to get my finances together.
