Thoughts on opponent, Justin Buchholz? I think Justin is a game opponent and I’ve got respect for him, but when I get to the cage I’m going to show no respect for his game at all. I feel very confident, and coming off these losses has made me re-dedicate my training and focus. I’m very well prepared and this is the best shape I’ve been in for a fight. I know he is a stand up fighter and I’m glad I get to fight a stand up guy. Hopefully we give the crowd a great show and slug it out, kinda like I see this fight going.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I grew up rough and fought a lot. I started amateur when I was 16 and started training full-time by 18 years of age.

What ranks and titles have you held? MCC and UGC 155-pound belts.

What is your favorite technique? Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai techniques

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s the Super Bowl
