When and why did you start training for fighting? I started with Team Quest about two years before it was called Team Quest.

Do you have any heroes? Pope John Paul II.
What is your favorite technique? I like arm throws and leg locks.
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? This is my dream. I've wanted this since 1993.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I have a degree from the University of Oregon in sociology.
What was your job before you started fighting? I’m a realtor and an elected public official (precinct member district 22).
