When and why did you start training for fighting? I started out boxing. Then one day 10 years ago I decided to train with the MMA guys that shared a gym with us (Dennis Hallman, Jeff Monson, and others).

Do you have any heroes? Anyone that gives 100 percent in whatever they do. I love to see that.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? For me, fighting in the UFC is the pinnacle of MMA. Step one is getting here. So now I’m on step two, which is securing my spot here.
